Cannot connect to Subsonic PC from outside my local network
Posted: Wed Apr 22, 2015 3:17 pmI cannot connect to my Subsonic PC from the Internet. I am unsure as to when the problem started, I just noticed it today.
First of, configuration info:
License Subsonic Premium
Version 5.2.1 (build 4428) – March 4, 2015
Server jetty-6.1.x, java 1.8.0_31, Windows 8 (57.6 MB / 136.2 MB)
I have a double router configuration, which is working fine, since there are other applications inside my network that work well from the Internet (for example, Plex). I have rebooted both routers and the PC running Subsonic.
Whenever I try to connect, there is a connection timeout. The address registered is balimusic.subsonic.org.
Any clues? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: I just tested another application (Emby Server) running in the same PC as Subsonic, and my port forwarding configuration is fine, since this app responds well from the Internet. Is there a problem in the registration of server adresses with Subsonic? Do I need to reinstall my server?
