Incorrect Display??

I have recorded two double album (4 CD's) of two different artists.
But Subsonic shows 2 Artists 17 album 38 tracks.
Why ??
There are only Title and Cover 2 in the folder.

sometimes in cases where it is a live / compilation cd it will count the original album that track was released on in the # of albums. i have a hospital records compilation that has 13 tracks on it all the tracks were originally released on diff albums. when i view artist list it shows 13 albums under the hospital records artist name. but when viewed it only shows the 1 compilation.

Edit: I just want to add this is just what it looks like to me and may not be the actual case.
