MP3 playback speeds up songs in jukebox mode using DSub

Postby moorek » Mon May 25, 2015 2:38 pm

Problem Description: When using DSub on an Android phone in jukebox mode, songs play normally but after about an hour, every song speeds up similar to a 45 played at 78 speed. The only way to stop it is to completely stop the playlist and restart playback. Worst case is that I have to restart the Subsonic service. In jukebox mode, it will happen again after a while.

Troubleshooting Steps: It does not happen when I play directly using the web interface or when I stream to my phone using DSub. It only seems to be in jukebox mode.

Playback Application and version: DSub 4.9.7 on an HTC One M8 Lollipop

Subsonic Version: 5.2.1 (build 4428) – March 4, 2015

Server Version: jetty-6.1.x, java 1.8.0_31, Windows 8 (65.5 MB / 145.0 MB)

Hardware Platform: Windows 8.1

Java Memory Limit: 150MB

Problem Filename: No specific file.

Output from ffmpeg -i:

Last ten log file lines: I will do this the next time it happens. Unfortunately, the last time it happened (yesterday), it got into a zombie mode where I couldn't control the playback anymore and I had to kill the Subsonic process and restart the server so the log file doesn't reflect the correct timeframe.

Edit: did it again. Here's the log file. Nothing stands out. Soon as it got to "Weird Science" it sounded like Oingo Boingo turned into the Chipmunks.
