Andoid client causing reboot of tablet

Im using the latest subsonic client on my samsung note pro 12.2, thats on android 4.4.4.
The problem im having is that it is randomly causing my tablet to shutdown and reboot, though its not an issue i can recreate. i can queue a few tracks, select the player tab which causes a reboot, though doing the same after the reboot doesnt trigger a shutdown
I can leave the app running in the background fine for 30 mins, but when attempting to queue new music.. reboot
Advice would be appreciated
