Subsonic Forum

I've got an issue I'd like an answer to:


I have two computers, both running XP Pro sp3 with gigabit LAN between them, my server and my main computer..

I've got subsonic installed on my main computer, but a lot of free space on my server, is there a way to get subsonic to use folders on my server ?

I've tried mapping network drives, and selecting shared folders without success...

Create a file share on the "server"
enter a UNC path in subsonic.


\\servername\sharename

For example: \\MusicPC\MusicFiles

I tried that.. nothing shows up in subsonic...

"\\Server1\D\Film 4"

I did the rest as usual...

Instead of "\\Server\D\Film 4", try sharing the "Film 4" folder and use "\\Server\Film 4" or use "\\Server\D$\Film 4\
