Subsonic Forum

Hello,

I know this might seems to be a stupid question, but... I can't find how to display the lyrics of the currently playing song in subsonic...

I searched the GUI, but nothing... I read here that it's supposed to be in the right of the main frame in the "now playing" view... But I just can't find it !

I even switched back to subsonic default theme and language.

Could someone help me ? Maybe with a screenshot ?

You have have an active stream going in order for it to show up. On the right hand side of the screen when on the Playing view it shows the User Name of the person listening to the song, the name of the song and then a Lyrics link.

If you look at this link you can see where someone has a screenshot that includes the lyrics links.

In case it would help someone : I had to enable "Show what others are playing" and "Let others see what I am playing" in order to have the lyrics link displayed.

On another Lyrics note, It would be nice to not have to be playing the song to get its lyrics. I'd like to suggest providing a link in the playlist line item to the lyrics on metrolyrics.
