Problems seeing indexed music

I have Subsonic running on an old laptop. It had been working fine, but I shut it down for a couple of weeks. Today I restarted it and reconnected it to my music (which is on a NAS). It's indexed everything and found the expected 64k-ish songs, but it refuses to actually SHOW them. The summary shows the total number of artists, albums, songs, how many gigs of data, and how many hours it is. But clicking Refresh gets me nowhere.
Any suggestions?
Keith

Hi,
Maybe this is a case of missing folder-permissions for the user you log in with...
Go check which folders the user is allowed to see in the User Settings:

No 'maybe' about it! Thanks VERY much Michael, that was precisely the problem.

Curious that the admin user 'lost' those permissions, but I can't point fingers at the software without being sure it wasn't actually something I did. And these things are often PBKAC. Heh.

I have the same problem, but all users and admin have access to the music folders. It was working yesterday just fine. Today I can see the folders and artwork but no media files.
I've tried this on several android devices. Also when am logged in on the web interface on the computer running subsonic I don't see media files either.
I have rescanned the collection which only took about 30 seconds to scan 2 terabytes of files. But I seem to recall it was always a fast scan.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Today it is working, so maybe it was a problem beyond my devices...
