Old user coming back

I started using subsoinc about two years ago, paid for premium, then went off to college last year and wasn't able to keep the server up on their network. I haven't actively used the program in a long time, but I now have a second computer to keep at home that I can run the server on while I'm away. However when I went to set it up on this second computer (using version 4.9 because downloading the latest version from the sourceforge link on the website wasn't working), my key for the premium that I paid for is no longer being accepted. Were old keys that were purchased wiped when the monthly payment became an option? Is it something to do with using an older version? have I just been forgotten by the system for being inactive? I'd like to keep using this program, and I already paid for what I'm fairly certain was lifetime premium access. Any help would be appreaciated
