No Music showing, but does scan it
I recent needed to redo my server due to hdd failure and with that I had to reinstall subsonic ( so this isn't my first go around ). I mounted my harddrive under /mnt/public/Music and I gave ownership to my user account with
I then double checked that my users settings where correct
I installed the latest non-beta version of subsonic by downloading the dpkg from the server and following the instruction on the website for java + the package itself.
I moved the user account from root to zac as suggested in the instruction and setup process.
I setup my directories to search /mnt/public/Music for all my music.
Subsonic scanned my directories for all my files.
Back to my home page and I see this off to the left
I believe at this point the music would show up and I could listen to it but that is not the case.
I go to about to see my error logs and I see this
and I am not sure why I am getting authentication failed for user zac. I tried switching over to the admin account on subsonic and that didnt help, I tried changing passwords around for zac, I tried switching the user account for subsonic back to root as well. None of these things seemed to want to help.
I also tried to setup a podcast to see if I could get streaming to work. I created a webbased player & an external player. After setting up and downloading the prodcast episodes I wanted. Doubled check to make sure everything was downloaded
But I could not get any of the podcasts to play. The podcasts would not add to the players either webbased or external through winamp.
At this point I don't know what else to try and I would be interested to see what people have to say about it.
