No trace of DLs in the log

Hi.

I just found a strange issue with 3.6 that actually makes me think about putting it on hold for a while.

Recently I noticed a huge traffic and couple of connections to my subsonic. I found and confirmed that the IP connecting was a friend of mine. He was downloading a few albums. Fine, but the log file (\subsonic\subsonic.log) had no such activity indicated inside.
And just today another user told me he was downloading albums, while I shut down the server. I couldn't tell that, as the log was empty again.

Any idea what can be happening? The previous beta was just all right.
ps. I'm running it on windows xp and using the default installer.

Thnx.

Has anyone else seen this? I get the proper logging when downloading.

justa thought... Do you think you could add a more detailed logging in the next beta? For example a moment when people log into the site.

Even more detailed?
Maybe better an error log and a separate d/l & userlogin log

Have the subsonic log always opened with Tail32

i know it sounds crazy, but i'm experiencing a similar thing now again.
:?
one of my friends swears he's listening to a track via Subsonic, and actually it's true as I can see his status on last.fm - Subsonic is there in "listening now". my instance.
nothing's in the log. the status is blind about it. the thing is some other actions are actually being logged, like download of that person.

what is this? a memory issue with writting to logs? an issue when simultanous actions are being conducted by one user? my setup only?
jus thinking at loud...

It doesn't explain the last.fm thing, but I've noticed that if you play the same songs over again, the Flash player will cache them, so that they are not streamed from Subsonic again.

maybe that's the reason. i'll keep an eye on it.
thanks.
