Hi.

Just installed 2.8 this weekend and really liked it.
Upgraded to 2.9.beta1 today.

In the 2.8 version, when I set the cover art for and album, it would show up in the list with the other albums from that band.

After the upgrade to 2.9.beta1, the cover art is only displayed when I browse the album itself. Smells like a bug

Yeah, I understand what you mean. It's related to caching. Looking up cover art images on the disk is relatively time consuming, as it requires a recursive scan in all subfolders. So, in 2.9 I cache info about images up to 5 minutes. (That is, if you visist the artist page 5 minutes later, the new image should show).

I will, however, look for a better way to detect stale cache entries so that this common case doesn't confuse the users.
