Cover Art - Movies in folders.

I have searched but not found anything that describes my issue.
I installed Subsonic on lubuntu yesterday and that was very easy and working well.

I have a load of movies for my children in a folder, does each movie also need to be in it's own folder?
the reason I ask is that I have the "Movies" folder but inside there is just a load of MP4, AVI files... These have no cover art.

But i do have 3 movies that are in a folder inside movies (eg: Movies -> A Bug's Life -> A Bugs Life.mp4) and these have cover art.

No ideas?

I would love for all shows to be indexed in the list without having to be in a folder.
I have found this also happens with music. My daughter downloaded a few songs. Since it's not in an album they dont show up in the main list only at the very bottom of the left hand side.
