SubSonic finds my music tracks, but it's not showing them

SubSonic info from About page:
Version 5.3 (build 4568) – October 24, 2015
Server jetty-6.1.x, java 1.8.0_66, Linux (82.0 MB / 133.0 MB)

Brand new install on a Linux Mint 64-bit system. I pointed SubSonic to my Music directory. After scanning completed, SubSonic shows in the left sidebar:

262 artists
621 albums
6,605 songs
29.49 GB
366 hours


However, zero tracks are listed when I go to the media server's home page and select all tracks:


Yet it even recorded genres from various music files:


Why isn't SubSonic showing my music?

Recently, even the admin needs permissions in settings.
