Album with cover Art sometimes have placeholder Image

I got a strange behavior. In the Band overview with all albums I get sometimes Albums only shown with an placeholder image. But I I open the Album I will get the normal Album cover Art. Can it be a database issue?

I use to have that issue on the server software but now only in the mobile app. It may have something to do with the size of the image. Most of my hi-res images >=1000X1000 do not display in artist view but display fine in album view. All of my cover art is embedded in the files themselves.
