Streaming not working - How to uninstall and clean install?
Posted: Sun Jan 10, 2016 11:24 pmI am having issues with Subsonic streaming lossless audio files (FLAC or ALAC). For reasons unknown, the lossless files will not play on the host device or on any client devices. I am not using any transcoding, just streaming the lossless files. I have disabled all transcoding options that I know of. The files appear in my library, but when I select a file to play it appears that playing does not commence. The loading bar appears to move indicating that the file has loaded, and the log indicates that playback has started, but the seek bar for the song does not move, and no audio is output. Lossy files play fine. I am running Mac OS X 10.11
I would like to uninstall COMPLETELY and reinstall Subsonic to see if this resolves the issue. How do I do this? I have tried deleting the app and any associated library files, but this apparently doesn't actually uninstall the program (upon reinstalling, all settings, preferences, users, and library files appeared to be retained from the previous installation).
