Cloned hard drive, had to rename db folder

I was running out of space on my Mac Mini's 320GB internal drive.
I booted from the repair/utility partition and cloned the internal drive to a new 750GB hard drive.
After performing the surgery to put the 750GB drive into the Mac Mini, I was expecting it to boot up and for everything to be the same- just more space available.
Well, when it booted and I tried to access Subsonic, I was getting an http 503 (I'm hope I'm remembering that correctly) access denied error.
A few Google searches later, and I quit Subsonic and renamed the db folder to db.old and then fired up Subsonic. So, this got this working again, but I lost all my users settings and playlists. It was like starting over.
Is there anyway to go back to the old database on the new hard drive? I'm really surprised that this happened since I cloned the old drive to the new drive with OS X's Disk Utility. I thought Subsonic would not be able to tell the difference. All my other apps & services came back just like they were before.
I'm running OS X 10.11 "El Capitan"
My Subsonic info starts like this:
License Subsonic Premium (expires November 25, 2016)
Version 5.3 (build 4568) – October 24, 2015
Server jetty-6.1.x, java 1.8.0_25, Mac OS X (107.4 MB / 148.0 MB)
Let me know what other info I can provide.
I'd really like to quit Subsonic, restore the old db, make whatever tweaks are necessary (delete or edit a file?), and the fire Subsonic back up with my old users info and playlists.
Thanks in advance for any insights or helpful advice.
