Subsonic Forum

Hi can anyone post a step by step tutorial on how to set up subsonic on a external WebHost/Server?

I am having some problems running this on my own home server due to issues with my modem, but thats another topic, and hosting it on my external webhost would be a better solution for me as I have a huge hosting package which I could take full advantage of.

I have already set up a sub domain and can upload my music to the server over time.

Yes, I'm using a "virtual private server" product from godaddy.com. Basically it's a (virtual) Linux server with root access, so I just followed this tutorial.

well i have had a go and must say from I hav'nt got a clue how to do this.
I have a virtual webserver set up on my online hosting but still dont know how to intall within that directory.
