Accessing Network Drive - Error 1069 logon failure

Hi All

I installed Subsonic to try as an alternative to Plex to get gapless playback. Everything went fine, and Subsonic ran, but it couldn't see my network drive when I tried to set it up as the location for my music.

So I googled and found that it is necessary to configure the service properties so that it will access outside of local computer. So I did that. I changed the logon to my primary admin account (which is my Microsoft Account), and confirmed that the password was correct (per my Microsoft Account).

But every time I tried to start Subsonic as a service after that it would give me an error:

Code: Select all
Windows could not start the Subsonic service on Local Computer

Error 1069: The service did not start due to a logon failure

This is the error I get if I try to start through "Services". If I just try through Subsonic control panel, it doesn't give an error. It just tries to start and goes back to "Not running" status.

I checked my password many times. I reset my password twice and tried new ones. I rebooted before most attempt, but still nothing.

Computer is Windows 10. Network drives are WD MyCloud (but I don't think that's even relevant until I can start the Subsonic service again.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Guess I'll be waiting for Plex for fix the gap issue then.

Pity. I really wanted to give Subsonic a try.
