Offline access to playists?

I understand that I can pin all the tracks in a playlist, however if my app (or the server) is offline, all I see is individual pinned tracks, but no playlists. How can I save playlists to offline mode?

Anyone? It seems like this should be pretty basic functionality (even google play music does this!), but the answer is eluding me.

What Subsonic client are we talking about here ?
Which app, browser, web interface, ... ?
Android, iOS, desktop, WInPhone, Blackberry, ... ?
More details is needed for giving any answer to this.
I know at least one iOS app which provides offline access to playlists... but "pinning tracks" sound more like terminology used in DSub or the official Subsonic app.

Sorry, I don't know why I didn't mention I'm talking about the Android Subsonic app. I can go to a playlist, select all, then pin all. The tracks are then all stored locally, but if I go to offline mode in the Android app, or if my server goes offline, I can see the individual tracks on my phone by folder, but there is no playlist. I can't find any way to access a playlist itself if either my phone or my server is in offline mode.
Let me know if any other info is required. Thanks.

I guess that's more a feature request.
Yeah, as it stands, the offline mode of the Android app only knows about what files are actually there. It does not keep track of how it got them (playlist, random, playing an album or folder, whatever). There is no preservation of playlist metadata on the phone.

Sad news, but thanks for confirming what I suspected might be the case.
