Was having "site not reachable" issues which I could not solve so I uninstalled subsonic 5.3 & deleted all subsonic folders then reinstalled. Wanted to change user from "root" to my name as suggested in "Getting Started." I can find no /etc/default/subsonic file as mentioned in the "installation" page on the subsonic website. Subsonic itself seems fine--I have Premium with name.subsonic.org access. I can access with that web address, but have not had a chance to test away from home. iOS apps play:sub & AVSub have access & play fine. I have always been able to call up the /etc/default/subsonic file to make adjustments before.

Linux Mint 17.3
subsonic 5.3

I completely removed & reinstalled for lack of any other ideas. File now appears & remote access is working again.
