My easy to remember subsonic.org name now shows as..." connect to subsonic.org:80 timed out" .. port forwarding has been in place for years

I can't connect to my subsonic server. I think subsonic.org is down

Looks like the server is totally down.

The home page won't load, and neither will the download page - which is frustrating, as I need to download the latest war file.

nslookup on http://www.subsonic.org gives 198.71.81.108, which I can't even ping successfully.

Anyone have contact details for the site admin?

Keep in mind, until this is resolved, you can still access your server at your own IP address and/or dynamic DNS name. For instance, http://w.x.y.z:7080/subsonic

I'm unable as well ...... looks like subsonic is down. Whats weird is I can hit the test server; they must have that on a completely different network.

You can still reach it with your home IP address :forwarded port.

This is only the second time this has happened in the 4 years I've been using Subsonic

Been using it for 5-6 years, and this is probably the 10th time it's happened that I've witnessed. Not that it's frequent, but it's certainly not as rare as your experience.

Same here... it's happened before. Hopefully the server will be back up soon.

Thanks! Saved me behind, can now listen to music at work again unlike from about 3pm yesterday.

To my untrained eye, that java error that was thrown appears to indicate so, but wanted to ask more knowledgeable folks on this site. Reinstalled both subsonic and java on my raspberry pi with no success. Router was checked and all settings were fine with regards to port forwarding, so that is not the issue.
