Album Covers Issues

Hi there,

Been usinhg the software for a while and its great, however noticed a couple of bugs I was hoping there was a solution for regarding the album cover display.

First off all of my albums are correctly mp3 tagged prior to adding, with jpg album covvers between 300x300 and 500x500 (min and max sizes).

These almost always show up correctly in my browser.

However recently I noticed that:

1. For some albums on the index view I get the "default" cover instead (yellow and black or green and black with text of album name). When I click into the album its still there. But when I click on the album cover at this level, the correct cover shows in the pop up?

2. Some album covers (usually black ones) have a coloured (teal?) hue instead. Again when clicking on the image inside the album level, the proper one shows in the pop up.

I have tried retagging the files with different covers, but no joy.

Is this a database issue? And if so how do I correct it? Thanks.

I'm having the same problem with the teal tinted images but just for the resized covers. I'm assuming something odd is happening when Subsonic resizes these.

Is there a way to clear the album art cache on the server? Maybe making SS try again will get better results?

I found the album cover issue was an "endian" problem (if you want the technical details, google it ;-) ), and the only way to resolve it was to find an alternative image from a different site. seems the library the resizer is using isn't paying attention to that little detail. :|

Is there a way to ignore a directory?

I think I want to put artwork in a subdirectory and have subsonic just ignore it completely.
