Subsonic Forum

I replaced my WAR file with the latest v6.0 file and now the web interface doesn't work. Also cannot connect to the server from my phone however the web interface starts to come up partially, but then errors out with

"Failed to find parameter: instanceId (check server log for more into)"

Any ideas how to fix this?

ok, rebooted the NAS server and it magically worked. Strange, but I will leave this post in case it may help others...

This is a known issue which has nothing to do with Subsonic, but with the browsercache.
Clearing the browsercache will solve this error as you will find in other topics.
Sometimes it just pays to search the forum...

My post is the only post on the forum with that error that requires a QNAP NAS to be rebooted in order to resolve. There is now something to search for others. The clearing cache didn't work in this case, and if you had read the post closely, you would have seen that connections externally to subsonic including my phone app didn't work because the issue was with subsonic in a funct state from the upgrade, not the problem of a single computer browser.

Sometimes it just pays to read the post closely.
