Help changing process as root user NAS4Free

Postby razielsoul » Wed May 04, 2016 5:34 am

Hi,

I am a NAS4Free user and am having some difficulties changing the Subsonic process so that it is not running as root. I have looked through the help files on the website but the instructions given are for Debian or Red Hat and the folder structure isn't the same as my installation (e.g., there is no /etc/default/subsonic). To give you some background on my installation, I am running the "Full" version of NAS4Free (it's up to date) and, as such, Subsonic is installed without the use of jails. I have created a user called subsonic but I have no idea how to make this user run the Subsonic installation. If anyone out there can help, that would be much appreciated. Cheers!
