Hello All,
I am running the new Subsonic server 6.0 (although the behavior I am about to describe happened in earlier versions also) and I am finding certain folders in my library do not work with iSub (it only show certain albums in the folder and does not show the rest) nor with Soundwaves. It is in Soundwaves that I think that I see the reason for the problem....
Server Error
There was a problem with your request: Cannot parse the XML document: (5) Premature end of data in tag subsonic-response line 2
Again this doesnt happen with the majority of my folder just certain folders. On the server I have tried removing all the folders, rebuilding the DB, and then refreshing in SoundWave (which of course works because the folder is now empty), and THEN adding the folders back 1 by 1 rebuilding the DB each time. It seems that once I put back 1 folder the XML problem occurs again. The name of the folder is "Slayer" which in itself shouldn't be a problem. I also cannot see any real problems with any of the names of the tracks in the album folders.
Is there a way I can see what XML is being sent via the server to the requesting client (a log4j property set to debug mode perhaps?) or would anyone know how to get logs from the SoundWave or iSub app on the ipad? Also beside the "Scan media folder now" and the "Clean-up database" options in the Media Folder settings is there a way I can REALLY flush my DB? A file which can be deleted or is Subsonic a memory based DB populated when the service is started?
BTW I am running on Windows 7 Professional.
Thanks for any direction you can point me in.
Roger
