streaming to "noxon 2": does not work

Hi everybody,
I've got a noxon 2 streaming client and I would like the subsonic software to take control over the streming client. It works, but only for the first song.

When the first song is finished, it seams that the client loses the connection and stops. When it stops playing, the player shows a message like this: "Datafile format error".

Any idea?

I tried the Player Flag "control player automaticly" but I receive always the same error.

From Linux-PC (Subsonic runs on a tomcat) to any Windows it works perfectly!!
Subsonic Version: 2.8 / Streaming of different kind of MP3-Files, without transcoding, ...

Thanks for your help !!!!!

Maybe the Noxon device doesn't handle to well changing between songs with different bitrates? I would suggest installing LAME and turn on transcoding. That way, the device will receive a more homogenous mp3 stream.

hi sindre, thanks for your help!
I've installed the lame/transcoding thing. It works, but on the behavior of my noxon 2 - streaming client it has no impact at all. After the first song, the client stop's with the error message ...datafile format error, jump to the next...."

hope, you've got another idea!

Thanks, osi
