Podcast: Error hostname in certificate didn't match

Postby Uddasa » Mon Jul 18, 2016 1:30 pm

I've got errors with 2 podcasts hosted on djpod, Subsonic can't download any new episodes from them and shows this error: "Error hostname in certificate didn't match: != OR OR"

Here are the feeds URL:
http://feeds.djpod.com/24fps
http://feeds.djpod.com/silence-on-joue

It worked great since a few weeks ago, but they must have changed something and now Subsonic can't download any episode.
I tried importing the feeds in PlayerFM, Podcast Addict (Android app) and it worked great on both, so it must be a Subsonic issue.

Here is the last 10 lines of the log, just after a podcast update.
Code: Select all

As it doesn't seem to interest anyone I've tried another time to make it work, without success unfortunately.
On my Windows PC I've installed Subsonic 6 (and 5.0 after just to be sure) and still got the same error: impossible to download any episodes from any podcasts hosted on DJPod.

As other softwares can download them: Antennapod (Android), Podcast Addict (Android), Player FM (tested with Webapp and Android) and also gPodder (Windows app) I can only conclude that Subsonic is doing something wrong.

The podcast managing in Subsonic is already not very intuitive and lacks a lot of features/options, but at least it was working "OK".
Now without podcasts working I have no reason to use Subsonic anymore as I also have a Spotify account for music.

Could the developers look into it? Is someone having the same issue?
It "seems" to be easy to fix (I know nothing is easy) as it seems related to an invalid certificate used to download the cover art.

Thanks.

Can anyone help me on this one?
Is there any Subsonic developper available?

Thanks ;)
