Flash player not showing in Firefox 3.0.8 + WinXP SP2

Hi

I'm having problems with the flash player in a windows xp computer, with firefox 3.0.8

In the same computer with IE6, it works fine.

The issue is since I updated to version 3.6; 3.5 was working fine.

The player just does not show up, and instead I get a link "Get flash player". I'm behind a corporate proxy, but as I said, this works fine using IE instead, and worked fine with th 3.5

Any idea?

Thanks

Well, after some more testing, it's not only the flash player. Setting it to external player, with or without playlist does not work either.

And the log says nothing about it. As if I had never clicked on the song.

I've tried disabling all firefox add-ons, but still no luck.

Using the IE-Tab extension in Firefox, makes it work (although with some rendering problems) - both flash and external player.

On another computer I'm using Firefox 3.1 beta 3 and seems to work fine so far.

Any idea of what can be the issue?

Working on my Firefox 3.0.8 and XP SP3

It seems to function fine with my combination. Maybe you should update to SP3 (if you can). Perhaps there is an inconsistency between 3.0.8 and SP2. Which version of flash do you have loaded into firefox? (you can view view the plugins tab off the "Add-ons" menu item. I am using Shockwave Flash 10.0 r22.
