Radio streaming to android app?

hi all,

i've got a couple of audio streams set up within the subsonic server, they work well (once i found compatible sources!) http://www.radionomy.com/ works well if anyone is looking!

but the problem is, i was hoping that i'd be able to stream-the-stream to the android app but i find no mention of the Radio/TV within the app. is this by design or am i missing something?! it would be great to listen to the the same radio stations whilst i'm on the go! :D

cheers,

Luke

(shameless plug 8) ) Subfire has internet radio support for Android. Works both Chrome and Firefox, but for radio streaming I've found that Firefox is a little more stable on 4G (both are about equal on wifi). I listen to "Muppet Central Radio" pretty regularly.

thanks for the tip! ideally i'd like to keep it all within the android app... but hey, you can't always get what you want!

Actually, I can...but only by writing my own app (which is a reason I did that). 8)

DSub will also support Internet Radio Streaming in the near future. I already have it coded in just not sure when it will go out in an official release.

i think it must have now gone out :-) i've had D-sub for a while but not used it frequently. it's now got support and works great - thank you! it also seems to have solved a problem i was having with tracks randomly stopping and playing the next track early which is bonus.
