Searchin in Subsonic. Only by name and not by tag?

I am using subsonic with a great sense of satisfaction.
Currently i have more than 105k MP3 songs.
When i search on country in subsonic, i get only the songs or the albums with the name country showed up.
The result is 7 hits.
Dolly Parton , Patty Loveless and Linda Ronstadt for example do not show up in the artists list.
May i conclude that subsonic only works by name, and not by tag?
So, if i tag Dolly Parton as country , it will never be found by subsonic?
I have renamed a directory from 'Name' to Name[genre], subsonic shows up this artist as i search on [genre]
Will Subsonic using tags in the future? That will be a lot easier, rather then searching by name.
