dlna problems
Posted: Sun Oct 16, 2016 3:04 amI have subsonic installed on an i7 windows 10 pro computer. I have been unable to use dlna to play music. I have tried media monkey on the same computer, a Grace mondo 6000 radio and the bubbleupnp client on my android phone, all on the same network. I get the same behavior with all dlna clients.
I can see the subsonic server, I can select the music by artist/album, I can see the tracks but when I tried to play one, it either buffers incessantly or buffers then acts like has completed playing. Media monkey will sometimes go not responding trying to play a track.
I have used plex, mezzmo and media monkey without problems for dlna.
I have tried both the 5.21 server and the 6.0 server but get the same behavior. Am I missing something or is dlna support problematic?
