Hello;

Using subsonic on ubuntu 16.04, now 16.10 . I've added a new folder to my "music" folder that's on a large drive that a group of music folders all organized by date. I added Oct 16 2016 and then did a re-scan of the master folder that's in my subsonic library path.

I cannon see anything in that folder through subsonic. I've re scanned the library several times.

is there a limit to the number folders the library scan will descend?

all of my collection is set up ||| DriveX > music > "date" > Album > song.flac across several drives

Any ideas

Thanks.

Tim

I'm new to Subsonic.

Seeing a similar situation on Windows 10.1607. A folder structure of <genre>/<artist>/<album> is not being correctly scanned.

The first <genre> folder gets scanned, but subsequent folders at that level show up in the index, but their contents are not scanned.
No <artist> show up in the Index, but are present in Search.

I was hoping someone would respond, I really would prefer not to move to madsonic--- happy with subsonic for a very long time.

Any errors in your logfiles?
Did you check permissions on your recently added folders?
Does the account running subsonic service have acces to your recently added folders?
I found that mostly this sort of problems usually comes down to missing or incorrect permissions on folders.
