Does the Subsonic admin account have privileges on your mediafolders?
Did you check the Windows-permissions on your mediafolders?
Is the Subsonic-service account running under an account with full privileges on the mediafolders?

Thanks for the reply. No changes have been made on the server and I am logging in with the same account I have been for a few years now. I am a premium subscriber (not sure if that matters).

This happened to me a year or so back and I think I had to start over from scratch which would be pretty bad at this point.

Thanks.

I hope you still checked these things.
Could it be that your Java-installation has gone corrupt?
I would try the next thing:
Stop the Subsonic service, remove and reinstall Java and then restart Subsonic.
If that doesn't help you could try to install Subsonic again in the same folder. But make sure to copy the database folder to another location for back-up.

It looks like it is the DB that is corrupt. 2nd time in a year or so this has happened. Is there any "fixes" for this besides re-install?

Stop the Subsonic service
Move the content of the DB-folder to another temporary folder
Start the Subsonic Service,
Subsonic will rebuild the database, but next you'll have to reconfigure Subsonic from scratch:
Mediafolders. users, networksettings. Everything.
From what I've been reading here it seems that subscriptions to podcasts could be the reason for your database to get corrupt.
