confused novice

Installed subsonic on a windows vista laptop, w/less connection with router. All ok on this machine - localhost opens web page shows music etc. Have another w/less laptop and wii with w/less internet access. Page load error when I try and access localhost. Have forwarded ports and even used port i currently use for btorrent. Have turned off windows firewall. I suspect this is down to my ignorance of networking - any help appreciated

My apologies in advance if this seems rude, but are you actually trying to connect to http://localhost/ from the other laptop or are you just referring to the subsonic host as "localhost"?

Appreciate your tactfulness, but do not underestimate my ignorance. By local host i meant the ip address of the host machine. I checked again and realised that my ip address had changed ( don't ask me why) All is working now - thanks for replying
