Missing Artist

My PC directory structure is C:\Music\Artist\Albums

I added two albums to a newly created artist folder today.
I know they were there because I listened to them on the Web UI and even added missing artwork.
They showed up, both, under "Recently Added".

Now, they are missing.

Checked on computer and the folders are still there, totally unchanged and untouched.

Re-scan of library still not picking up. Stopping Subsonic and restarting did nothing.

Can't see in recently added, in index or by searching.

What happened and how can I fix this?

Did you try to perform a database cleanup and than scan your mediafolders?
If that doens't resolve the issue, I would move the 2 folders temporarily to another location.
Than run a scan, perform a database cleanup , move the folders back to the right location and run a scan again.

Had already tried database cleanup and rescan.
