Subsonic Forum

I'd really like to install subsonic on the HP Mediavault MV1 (not the newer MV2 series). Does anyone know if this is possible? When attempting to install, I get the error "java: not found", so I'm assuming the MV1 doesn't have java on it by default, and I've not been able to figure out how to get it on there.

If anyone has any experience with this and the Mediavault, I'd greatly appreciate it.

your HP Mediavault MV1 is just a NAS right?
I have Subsonic running on a Windows Home Server setup without an issue.

I would setup Subsonic on desktop and add the UNC path to your subsonic folder configs, but I dont know enough about the HP Mediavault MV1 to if it is possible or not.
