Remote access using SONOS

I have just set up my Sonos system to access remotely my music....the music shows in my Sonos app and tracks load to play but they each only play for 5 seconds before cutting out. The log is giving me the following error
WARN SonosFaultInterceptor Error: org.apache.cxf.interceptor.Fault: For input string:(....playlist + track number)
I'm using a Mac with OS 10.12.2
Any suggestions?

I use Sonos with Subsonic and have not seen the error you are seeing. So to be sure I understand the issue. You can see the Subsonic server in the Sonos app OK?
You can browse through it and see the contents in the controller? If you play something other than a playlist does the song cut off after 5 seconds?

Hi Bill
Many thanks for getting back to me. The issue is remote access...I live in the UK and have set up Sonos to access Subsonic...I'm now in South Africa and I wanted to set up my SONOS here using my UK server. That is what was causing the problem with the music cutting out. It is working now but, to be honest, I'm not sure what fixed the proble....I set up a new music service and I also shut down the whole system and reconnected to my SONOS system, so either could have fixed the fault.
It's all playing fine now...albeit that there doesn't appear to be a search function available (even though I did check the relevant box when I set up the music service).
TYo be honest, I don't want to spend any more time on this now because I'm enjoying the weather too much to be indoors...it is serving me fine for the time being. Perhaps I'll do some further digging when I get home.
