I just installed subsonic on my Ubuntu 16.04 server I have done this before without any problems but this time it won't show me the login page..

When i try to login for the first time and enter localhost:4040 in my browser it adds /login.view? but the page stays blank

I tried with localhost:4040, server_local_ip:4040 and 127.0.0.1:4040 same result.

I'm using openjdk-9-jre
Anyone have a solution for this problem?

Problem Description: Read above text
Troubleshooting Steps: Tried localhost, server_local_ip and 127.0.0.1
Playback Application and version: Haven't gotten that far yet
Subsonic Version: can't open the web interface
Server Version: Can't open the web interface
Hardware Platform: Ubuntu Desktop 16.04
Java Memory Limit: Standard
Problem Filename:
Output from ffmpeg -i: (If you open a command prompt and type 'ffmpeg -i <filename>' what is the output? Ideally put this in a "code" block)
Last ten log file lines: Can't open the web interface

You did install Oracle Java?
Don't know a thing about Ubuntu but I'm sure you have ways to check if the subsonic service is up and running?

Found a solution i purged openjdk-9-jre-headless and installed openjdk-8-jdk and the login page worked :)
