[SOLVED] Video streams halting in Chrome

Hello,

My subsonic instance seems to be broken, in that when a user attempts to stream a video it halts after a certain amount of time. Sometimes it's mere seconds, other times it can be minutes or longer. I've tried restarting the service, it's got plenty of memory to run (2GB).

6.0 (build 830afc) – April 30, 2016

ffmpeg seems to crash and restart itself (at least, it keeps changing PIDs on the host system). Is that normal? If not I think the issue lies with ffmpeg. I tried replacing the one in C:\Subsonic\ffmpeg with the latest .exe from ffmpeg's site, but that did not make a difference.

This only seems to be an issue with Chrome (on multiple PCs). Firefox plays videos fine. I'm thinking it has something to do with flowplayer/HTML5.

Figured it out.

Solution:
In Chrome -> Type in URL bar -> chrome://flags
Find "Hardware-accelerated video decode" and DISABLE

Video now plays fine.

Very annoying that I have to relay this to all my users though.
