Hi guys, I'm glad to be here and very happy with Subsonic. This morning I found this message when I tried to connect to my home server from remote:

HTTP ERROR: 404

/WEB-INF/jsp/login.jsp
RequestURI=/WEB-INF/jsp/login.jsp

Powered by Jetty://

Any ideas about how to fix this?

Many thanks for this great piece of software!!

All the best!

HTTP ERROR: 404 means that the webpage you requested doesn't exist.
Could be a number of things starting with a port forwarding in your router that is'nt properly configured.
Can you connect to the server fron within your LAN?
Is the Subsonic service running?
Can you log in to Subsonic's web interface on the computer where you installed it? ( http://localhost:4040 by default)
What does the subsonic logfile show?
Did you register your server with a subsonic.org- address?
What does it say when you go to Settings >> Network?
What Os are you using to run Subsonic?
What Java version are you using?

Hi Toolman,

thank you for your answer. Now it's fixed. The problem was caused by my Mac (server) at home, it was struggling after a couple of weeks without shutting down :D. Now everything is working as usual, very sweet!! Happy as birds with Subsonic. I'll close this post as fixed.

Thanks again for your help!

Have a great weekend.

Cheers!
