Subsonic Forum

Hi. I just experienced a problem with Subsonic and I'd like to see if there is a way to troubleshoot it without having to rebuild my entire database. Hopefully this will help improve the product in the long run.

Problem Description: Subsonic starts but doesn't display web interface, has database error in log file
Troubleshooting Steps: Restart computer, subsonic service, install 6.1 beta 2
Playback Application and version: web interface
Subsonic Version: started with 6.0 stable, now 6.1 beta 2

Sadly, S1000 General Error usually refers to a corrupt db. Perhaps a db whiz can fix, but a rebuild isn't so bad, and back up once you complete the build.

Well, I did do the rebuild with the .script file, but it was exactly this thing that made me install MadSonic a while back.. I'm really glad 6.1 has the option for external databases. I'm totally trying it out with MariaDB soon!
