The volume in Windows is WAY TOO LOUD.
For some reason Subsonic is MUCH louder than any other program in Windows. In the Windows Volume Mixer Subsonic has the same "Master Volume" level as other programs. Because it is so loud, in the Subsonic client I have to turn the volume down to about 2% before it is even tolerable. At that point, I've lost the ability to fine-tune the volume because the range is so restricted. The only way I can get Subsonic to work properly is to set its Master Volume in the Windows Volume Mixer to around 20% of its original volume. But Windows forgets that setting every time I reboot, so I have to remember to re-set it each time I restart the computer.
Very annoying. Has anyone else had a similar issue?
This could be easily resolved if Subsonic for Windows had an option for its master volume.
