I'd like to :
- play songs on a desktop computer, attached to an amp
- play songs on another device, using the same database (to have ratings and playlists at the same place)
- control the desktop computer remotely
I thought Subsonic could do that, but I didn't find how.
Having a song playing on the desktop (where music is stored), I can hear it on my amp. I can control it (play/pause etc).
On my laptop, I can play another song. I can see what's playing on the desktop, but can't control it.
As far as I know, I could do that in Jukebox mode. But enablin it is a mystery for me. Or is it active by default ?
I tried with two users, but to no avail. I have a drop down menu with players, but it didn't help.
What did I miss ? Is there a way to achieve this with Subsonic ?
