Initial Scan - Nothing Appears

Just performed new install of Subsonic, pointed it at my music library, and let it scan. It's a large library, about 750GB of music. It looks like it scanned the library just fine - when I check the 'About' link, the artists/albums/songs looks about right. However, nothing appears in the index. It's completely blank. Do I need to wait for some kind of database compilation to take place?

Check if the admin user have permission to view the folder. Go to Settings -> User (select admin) and check the boxes under "Allow access to these media folders"
