Subsonic does not detect albums with non-English characters

I have some albums that are in Japanese and Subsonic does not detect them. I can tell because they're not in my library when I go to the Subsonic panel or the play:Sub mobile application. I also have an album that's in Russian, and it is not detected either. Is there any way to fix this that would not involve me changing the names of the files? Thanks.

I don't think so. I ended up just changing the names of the files (subsonic wasn't alone in this - WDTV set-top boxes had issues with them as well).

The problem with this is that these files are downloaded via BitTorrent on a seedbox, so if I changed the names of the files, I would be unable to continue seeding them because of the way BitTorrent works. It would also be a huge hassle to copy the files to another directory and change their names considering I have so much music.

Hum, I had subsonic on Debian and now on a FreeBSD and I can see Japanese characters. :?
