Podcast subscriptions suddenly stopped working

Hi folks,

It turns out that about 2 weeks ago my podcast subscriptions stopped working. I have not changed any settings on the server, and everything else (that I can tell) is working fine.

The (repeated) error in the log is:
WARN PodcastService Failed to resolve media file ID for podcast channel 'null': java.lang.NullPointerException

I found this post on the Madsonic forum: http://forum.madsonic.org/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=1690 which suggests that adding the Podcast directory to the media sources would resolve it. However, having tried that I'm still seeing the same problem.

The old podcasts downloaded up to this point are still there and available, but I can't add new subscriptions (they add, but never populate with content) and it's not identifying new episodes to download.

Any hints or suggestions would be very helpful. I'm currently running Subsonic 6.0 (build a7857c) on Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS.
