Jukebox sound crackling

Hi everyone,

I tried to using the jukebox feature today but the sound comes out crackling and noisy.

First it was kinda tricky to get it to work at all but I found the correct sound device I was supposed to use. Sound from the computer is regularly fine, it's just the jukebox sound that behaves like this.

This seems to be the bug #133 but it was apparently fixed on 5.2.1; I'm using 6.1.1 so I haven't tried applying the patch on https://sourceforge.net/p/subsonic/bugs/133/.

Any ideas?

edit: by the way, I read the bug above in more detail and it said that the popping and crackling was when jumping to the next track or around a track; that's not quite exactly what's happening. Just playing any song does it for me.
