I've been having crazy subsonic problems for the last few weeks, and AFAIK I haven't done anything. The server just sits there, being a server, and then something goes screwy.

Today it just randomly stopped playing anything. Via the local browser, remote browser, or iOS app. In the browser it doesn't even show me the play button next to the files. If I click the play button at the folder-level, it loads it into the playlist but nothing happens.

I've rebooted. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. I've updated Java. I'm banging my head against the wall. WTF is happening? I've been using subsonic for years and have never had problems like this.

Try another browser and check the subsonic transcoding settings.

It seems to be resolved by a complete uninstall and rebuild of the database. I was trying to avoid doing that but it seems to have worked.

I was worried that it would wipe out all of the "date added" dates and have everything show up as added on 6/20/2017. But it somehow has correct dates for everything so that's good. Lost all of my play count data but I didn't really use that much.
