Import Existing Podcast media

Hi there!

I just had to unfortunately delete my DB due to corruption and have re-imported my collection of Music.

Easy enough!

When it comes to Podcasts however, I have had to re-subscribe to all my podcasts.

It correctly uses the existing folders but doesn't pick up the existing media. I have the podcast settings set to "Keep all" and "Download all".

Is there a simple way I can get Subsonic to re-import these files?

It does try. The issue is whether or not the file still exists on the server at the URL the podcast is naming. I've got several where the RSS feed has the entire history of the site, but only the last 10 sound files are still in the system at those particular URLs. As far as subsonic is concerned, those other files don't exist; there's nothing to download.

Try importing the podcast feed into another app like iTunes and see if it his the same limit.

I've traced the source of the problem.

When I originally added the podcasts in Subsonic, I had the settings limiting the number of podcasts to 10 then changed it afterwards.

It seems it didn't force a re-check.

I ended up having to remove the podcasts (after backing up the folders), and re-adding them with the correct settings (to download all episodes) and it finds them all.
