Initially, after updating and having a 503 error, I deleted the DB and things worked for awhile with recreated DB. Then a reboot resulted in crash error report.
Current Java being used: /usr/lib/jvm/java-8-oracle/jre/bin/java
Linux home 4.4.0-83-generic #106-Ubuntu SMP Mon Jun 26 17:54:43 UTC 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
apport.log.1:ERROR: apport (pid 19860) Thu Jul 6 03:30:30 2017: executable: /usr/lib/jvm/java-8-oracle/jre/bin/java (command line "java -Xmx256m -Dsubsonic.home=/var/subsonic -Dsubsonic.host=0.0.0.0 -Dsubsonic.port=8080 -Dsubsonic.httpsPort=0 -Dsubsonic.contextPath=/ -Dsubsonic.defaultMusicFolder=/var/music -Dsubsonic.defaultPodcastFolder=/var/music/Podcast -Dsubsonic.defaultPlaylistFolder=/var/playlists -Djava.awt.headless=true -verbose:gc -jar subsonic-booter-jar-with-dependencies.jar")
I can zip the crash file up and give a DL link if needed.
Downgraded to 6.1 and problem solved for now.
